Nia Fitria, one of the student from Management Department Universitas Internasional Batam had an opportunity to presented and proceeding her research paper in the International Conference of China-Indonesia Economic Forum on March 28, 2018. Hosted by Nanjing Xiaozhuang University (NXU) and Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).
The theme of the conference was “International Collaboration to Realize Asian Century 2050”. The opening speeches delivered by Prof. Chengming Xu (Rector of NXU) and continued with 2 keynote speakers were Nandang Sutrisno, SH., L.L.M., M.Hum., Ph.D. (Rector of UII) and Prof. Binjian Yan (Lecturer from Nanjing Agricultural University). The leader of the delegation, Rector of UII conveyed that exposure of China’s Economic Ties with Southeast Asia: Current Development of Asean-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA). While Binjian Yan from Nanjing Agricultural University gives exposure to the topic of China’s Economic Growth in the Imbalance of the Global Economy.
Nia Fitria and her supervisor, Dr. Evi Silvana Muchsinati and Prof. Wang Sheng Yuan conducted a research paper that entitled “Analysis of Factors that Enhances Employee’s Performance in Academic Sector: A Case Study at Nanjing Xiaozhuang University and Management Department at Universitas Internasional Batam”. The research paper discusses that the support from Supervisor and Organization/Institution has a highly influences toward Employee Performance. The quality of employee performance especially in academic sector is important that might increase the academic performance in that university. Organizational performance could be boosted by aligning the management techniques performance with practices of HRM. Performance of an employee is pointing to increase the whole efficiency and productivity in organization processes. And also, it can refer to the employee to perform their task and activity.
The conference was attended by 20 lecturers from UII, 20 lecturers from NXU, and 16 Indonesian students from Accounting and Management Major who currently continue their double degree program in NXU.
