The sustainable Community Service Program (PkM) is the motto of the academic community at Batam International University to apply science and technology to solve problems faced by the community, as well as empower the community to improve their quality of life and independence.

Community Service Master Plan 2021 - 2046
Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Internasional Batam refers to the 2025 Riau Islands Province Regional RPJM which refers to multi-sector planning, for example poverty reduction strategies, strategic environmental studies, and the results of planning studies in the education sector. Activity output (PkM) contributes to:
- Solving problems in society by utilizing the expertise of academics who are relevant to the existing issues;
- Utilization of appropriate technology to solve problems in society;
- Development of knowledge and technology needed by society; and
- Development of teaching materials or training modules that are useful for the community.

Assistance for MSMEs in implementing science and technology-based entrepreneurship by students and lecturers.

Universitas Internasional Batam helps make government programs a success in overcoming regional problems (regional/city government, villages, traditional villages, sub-districts) to improve the quality of life of the community
Social and Environmental Concern
Universitas Internasional Batam has held various scientific conference activities at both national and international levels. The conference was held to present the latest research results and community empowerment activities.
