About the UIB Discount Card Program
Universitas Internasional Batam’s (UIB) Discount Card is a program that offers various benefits from partners in the form of discounts/rebates or special offers to UIB academic community card holders, such as lecturers, students, alumni and employees. Our partners/merchants can come from various fields, such as food and beverage, entertainment, hotels, sports, beauty and so on. This program has been implemented for approximately 10 years and has collaborated with dozens of partners in Batam City. This program will continue to expand to other areas in the Riau Islands Province.
Benefits of Discount Cards:
The benefits of the UIB Discount Card program are: :
- Publication and promotional media for partners in marketing their products through price discounts, promos and other offers
- Increasing the number of new students/new consumers for both parties
- Providing wider benefits and facilities for academic community card holders
- Increase word of mouth for both parties in society about the products and services each offers.

When making a payment or before making one, every UIB student, alumni, employee or lecturer must show the card above to receive other benefits or privileges that have been agreed upon. Apart from that, each partner who has collaborated will have a UIB identity/logo placed. The logo design that will be placed at the merchant / partner will be in the form of sticker paper or mica display as follows:
The forms of benefits from partners are:
- Price discounts on certain products and services in the range of 5% – 25% will also be limited by the promo time and period based on the agreement. This method can be applied to various forms such as:
- Direct purchase price discount
- Discount on second purchase
- Price discount after reaching this amount
- Buy 1 get 1
- Privileges / privileges such as:
- Direct gift
- Service priority
- Additional duration of service use
- Special offers for certain periods in the form of:
- Buy 1 get 1
- Big day (one day offer)
- Bring your friends/family
- Check-in promo via FB atau Foursquare
- Lucky dip
The benefits that partners will get are:
- The opportunity to put up banners, standing banners and leave brochures on the UIB campus for a certain period.
- The opportunities to carry out direct promotions to UIB students which can be packaged in talk shows or seminars.
- The opportunities for promotion in the UIB graduation book by bartering sponsorship
All agreements between UIB and partners will be expressed in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), Implementation Arrangement (IA) and Cooperation Report which is valid for a minimum of 1 year depending on the agreement. The Discount Card program and agreement documents are managed and created by the Public Relations and Cooperation Bureau. The timetable for signing cooperation documents can be mutually agreed upon.
