YOUTH GLOBAL FULL SCHOLARSHIP

Recruitment and Online Interview for the Academic Year 2021/2022

Universitas Internasional Batam will hold “Recruitment and Online Interview” for Academic Year 2021/2022 for students in Thailand and other ASEAN (Southeast Asia) countries. The recruitment is for undergraduate programs and offered to get full scholarship.

A. The Study Program of Undergraduate Program:

  1. Civil Engineering (CE)
  2. Architecture (AR)
  3. Information System (IS)
  4. Information Technology (IT)
  5. Management (MN)
  6. Accounting (AC)
  7. Tourism (TM)
  8. Law Science (LS)
  9. English Language Education (ELE)

 

B. The Scholarship will Cover:

  1. Tuition fee for 7 (seven) semesters;
  2. Dormitory fee;
  3. Tuition fee of Indonesian Language Courses for 1 (one) year.

 

C. The Scholarship are Excluding:

  1. Expenses for student visa (approx.: USD 200);
  2. Student insurance;
  3. Meals during stay in Indonesia;
  4. Flight ticket

 

D. Qualifications of Candidates:

  1. Preferably Fresh Graduate Student from High Schools (age: 17- 25 years old);
  2. Completed secondary education or its equivalent;
  3. Able to communicate in English and additional Indonesian Language (Proven by English Language Proficiency Certificate: TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS or OTHER CERTIFICATE if applicable);
  4. In good health as proven by Medical Certificate;
  5. Passport size photo (2 pcs);
  6. Have basic knowledge of the field you’re applying

 

E. Process for Selection of Eligible Candidates

1. Interested applicants are required to fill google form (http://bit.ly/YMTIScholarship) Form and registration;

2. Complete the required documents:

a. Fill the Registration form (link: pendaftaran.uib.ac.id)

b. Birth Certificate

c. Passport Photo (2×3 cm)

d. Passport valid at least 18 months from time of arrival in Indonesia (estimated arrival: on July 2020)

e. Curriculum vitae/resume

f. Medical Certificate

g. Recommendation Letter from Education Institution / Professional Institution on official letterhead and signature (in English)

h. Last academic transcript and certificates (in English)

i. Language certificate (if applicable)

j. Other certificates that related to the field you’re applying (if applicable)

k. Essay or motivation letter to study in Indonesia, especially in UIB (in English or Bahasa Indonesia maximum 500 words)

3. Applicant is required to sit in for English test (140 multiple choices) and Interview. The test will be held online and the test detail will be emailed;

4. Successful candidates will be notified within 2 weeks after the interview;

5. The Letter of Acceptance will be sent to successful candidates via email;

6. Successful candidates will be required to fill in the re-registration form sent via email;

7. The applicant should apply for student visa; here is the general process of applying student visa in Indonesia, our officer will guide the applicant to apply the student visa;

8. New Students will be required to attend the New Student Orientation according to the following guidelines (P2K2 – 2020)

 

F. Important Dates (Batch II)

The application period starts from December 1st, 2020 – March 25th, 2021

  1. Application Submission: January 22nd – March 25th, 2021
  2. Online UIB Test: March 27th, 2021
  3. Announcement of test: March 30, 2021
  4. Re-registration: January 26 – February 10, 2021
  5. Student visa process: Withhold until the end of Pandemic
  6. Arrival in Indonesia: Withhold until the end of Pandemic
  7. New students Orientation: Withhold until the end of Pandemic
  8. Class start: September 2021 (Online Learning until further notice)
