Batam, February 11, 2026 — Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) officially welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in a visit titled Warm Welcome: Visiting from FPTV Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The event was held at the Grand Center, Building A, UIB, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM WIB, as part of UIB’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic partnerships and institutional collaboration.
The visit was attended by academic representatives and lecturers from FPTV UTHM, along with university leaders and members of the academic community of Universitas Internasional Batam. The program began with an official reception session, reflecting the mutual commitment of both institutions to fostering long-term cooperation, particularly in the fields of technical and vocational education, applied sciences, and human resource development.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in academic discussions focusing on potential areas of collaboration, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and the development of collaborative academic programs.
