To study in Indonesia, foreign students must apply for a visa. A visa is a permit given to foreigners to cross the border.

To apply for the visa, foreign students must contact the UIB International Relation Office.
For the holder of Visa E30B and E30C, after entering Indonesia with the visa, foreign students must apply for a Temporary Stay Permit (Izin Tinggal Terbatas – ITAS) within 30 days.
ITAS is an Indonesian Limited Stay Permit that can be issued to foreigners subject to certain conditions.
Document Requirements:
To apply for the ITAS, foreign students must contact the UIB International Relation Office. For the holders of visas C9 and C9B, the foreign students do not need to apply for temporary stay permits. The holder of visas C9 and C9B will automatically get a visit stay permit (Izin Tinggal Kunjungan – ITK).
