On 18 January 2024, Universitas Internasional Batam had the pleasure of hosting the Entrepreneurship Seminar, Focus Group Discussion, and Campus Tour Visit of Universitas Pertahanan Nasional, Malaysia. The event occurred from 2 pm to 6 pm and was attended by Business and Management faculty members, students, and university staff.
The Entrepreneurship Seminar was the first part of the event, and experts from both universities conducted it. The seminar focused on the importance of entrepreneurship and how it can be a driving force for economic development. The speakers discussed various topics, such as the current trends in entrepreneurship, the challenges entrepreneurs face, and ways to overcome those challenges. The seminar was highly informative and engaging, providing valuable insights for the participants.
The Focus Group Discussion followed the Entrepreneurship Seminar. Students from both universities led the discussion, which centered around cross-cultural communication. The participants shared their experiences and insights on effectively communicating with people from different cultural backgrounds. The final part of the event was the Campus Tour Visit. The participants were taken on a tour of the Universitas Internasional Batam campus, where they could see the various facilities and resources available to students.
