Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2014 on Higher Education Cooperation, university cooperation refers to the agreement between universities in Indonesia and other universities, businesses, or other parties, both domestically and internationally. The management of institutional cooperation within Universitas Internasional Batam is coordinated by the Public Relations division for cooperation, which is responsible for managing partnership administration and facilitating Bureaus, Departments, and units within UIB. This includes exploring partnership opportunities, supporting the development of collaborations, and evaluating the implementation of cooperation with various institutions. The Public Relations division for cooperation and the International Relation Office (IRO) also play a collaborative role as catalysts for internationalization at UIB. 

UIB’s partnership network consists of a diverse range of bilateral and multilateral collaboration programs with institutions both in Indonesia and globally. Currently, UIB has numerous partner institutions, both domestic and international, including universities, government institutions, industries, and nonprofit organizations that actively engage in various collaborative activities. Our international cooperation partners are spread across countries such as Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, and France.
