Two esteemed lecturers from the Master of Law Program at Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB), Assoc. Prof. Rina Shahriyani Shahrullah, Ph.D., and Asst. Prof. Nurlaily, were honored as “Best Presenters” at the 16th Global Conference on Business and Social Sciences “Contemporary Issues in Business and Social Sciences Research” (CIBSSR), held on 11-12 September 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Their award-winning presentation was based on their research article titled “Adopting Environmental, Social, And Governance (ESG) Principles by Corporations in Batam City, Indonesia: Realization of Sustainability.”
The 16th Global Conference on Business and Social Sciences brought together leading academics and professionals to discuss pressing issues in business and social sciences. Assoc. Prof. Rina Shahriyani Shahrullah, Ph.D., and Asst. Prof. Nurlaily represented Universitas Internasional Batam, delivering a powerful presentation on how corporations in Batam City are implementing ESG principles as part of their sustainability efforts.
