My internship in Taiwan at Addiction Aquatic Development was a very memorable experience for me, especially when I was assigned as a supermarket helper in one of their service areas. The company is known as a center for processing and distributing high-quality seafood, with an attractive modern market concept. Working directly in the supermarket area gave me the opportunity to see and understand how fresh products, seafood, and Taiwanese specialties are professionally presented to customers.

As a supermarket helper, I am responsible for assisting with various daily operational tasks directly related to customer service. My duties include organizing and restocking shelves, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the sales area, assisting with product quality checks, and answering basic customer questions about product locations or information. Although it may sound simple, this job requires precision, patience, and the ability to work quickly to ensure that the customer’s shopping experience remains comfortable and enjoyable.

In addition, I also learned about the international service standards applied in this company. Every product has strict handling procedures, from storage to shelf arrangement, to maintain quality. I gained firsthand experience of how stock management and distribution systems work in large-scale supermarkets, including the use of technology to monitor inventory. This knowledge broadened my understanding of the importance of efficiency and coordination in modern retail businesses.

Working in a busy supermarket also provided me with unique experiences in interacting with customers and coworkers from various backgrounds. I learned how to be professional, friendly, and communicative when dealing with diverse customers, while also building good teamwork with other staff members. This dynamic work environment trained me to adapt, manage my time, and maintain work ethics in an international setting.

My overall experience as a supermarket helper at Addiction Aquatic Development has been invaluable for my personal development. In addition to expanding my practical skills in supermarket service and management, I have also gained valuable lessons in work discipline, time management, and how to maintain service quality. All of these experiences have become important assets that have shaped me into a person who is better prepared to face the challenges of the working world, especially in the retail and customer service industries.

Living in Taiwan is an enjoyable experience because almost all daily necessities are easily accessible. Public transportation in Taiwan is very organized and efficient, ranging from the MRT, buses, to fast and punctual intercity trains, making traveling to various places practical and comfortable. With a user-friendly transportation system, I can easily explore cities, tourist attractions, and even traditional and modern markets without any difficulty finding routes or transportation.

The convenience is not only felt in transportation, but also in the abundant and diverse availability of food. Taiwan is known for its delicious and affordable street food, as well as restaurants that offer a wide selection of international menus. Wherever I am, there are always minimarkets, night markets, and food stalls ready to pamper my taste buds, so I never have trouble finding food that suits my taste and budget.

In addition, public facilities in Taiwan also greatly support daily comfort. Shopping centers, hospitals, city parks, libraries, and sports facilities are easy to find in various areas. All of these services are well connected by public transportation, making them easily accessible to anyone. This convenience makes daily life practical and stress-free, even for newcomers like me.

The ease of access in Taiwan also made it easy for me to interact with the local culture and community. I could easily visit historical sites, cultural festivals, and traditional markets to get a closer look at local life. The safe, clean, and orderly atmosphere made me feel comfortable traveling alone, whether for work or just sightseeing.

Overall, the ease of access in various aspects of life makes living in Taiwan a very memorable and enjoyable experience. Everything feels close and within reach, from transportation, cuisine, public facilities, to opportunities to explore the local culture. All of these things make life in Taiwan feel more comfortable, practical, and leave a deep impression that is not easily forgotten.
