From midday until late afternoon, all participants joined a field trip for direct on-site observation at Penyengat Island and the Kota Lama area in Tanjungpinang. The activity focused on an urban landscape scan, which involved mapping key urban features such as infrastructure, public spaces, religious and cultural sites, as well as environmental characteristics that shape the identity of these historic areas. This early-stage observation served as an important initial step before moving into further analytical activities on the following days.
