Through a scientific and applied approach, study programs at UIB's Faculty of Health and Science equip students with a deep understanding of biological and nutritional aspects, as well as the analytical skills needed to deal with health, environmental and food security issues at the national and global levels.

The Faculty of Health and Science (FHS) was established in 2025 with the hope of producing health and science graduates who are professional and competent in their fields. FKS has 2 undergraduate programs, namely the Nutrition Undergraduate Program and the Biology Undergraduate Program. The Nutrition Undergraduate Program was approved by the Minister of National Education Decree No. 89/A/0/2025 dated January 19, 2025 and the Biology Undergraduate Program was approved by the Minister of National Education Decree No. 90/A/0/2025 dated January 19, 2025. The establishment of FKS and the Bachelor of Nutrition Program and the Bachelor of Biology Program shows UIB’s commitment to continuously accommodate, develop, and disseminate science and health workers.
To become a faculty of health and science with international quality standards in producing professional graduates and innovative science and technology in 2035.
Integrating basic science, applied research, and concern for public health issues, study programs at UIB’s Faculty of Health and Science equip students with academic and practical competencies to contribute to the development of life science and the sustainable improvement of nutritional quality.
