Partnership with the Government/BUMN/BUMD
Universities as a partner in Finding Solutions for Development with the Government

Partnerships between the government and BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises) or BUMD (Regional-Owned Enterprises) are strategic in collaborations of various projects or economic activities. In this kind of partnership, the government as the majority owner of shares or control over BUMN/BUMD works together with their partners to achieve common goals, such as developing infrastructure, public services, or developing certain industries.
Such partnerships can take various forms, including public-private partnerships, inter-BUMN/BUMD partnerships, or cross-sector partnerships between BUMN/BUMD and other non-profit or private organizations. UIB’s main goal of this kind of partnership is to leverage the strengths and resources of each party to increase efficiency, productivity and overall prosperity for the mutual benefit of both parties.
