For FDCH, the meeting served as an important opportunity to discuss strategic pathways for long-term cooperation, particularly in areas related to human capital development, capacity-building, and scholarship opportunities for Timorese students. Both parties explored possibilities for future collaboration, including student placements, graduate education pathways, short-term training programs, and academic exchange between Timor-Leste and UIB.

The discussion also emphasized the growing need for skill development in various fields aligned with Timor-Leste’s national priority sectors. UIB expressed readiness to support these priorities by offering access to academic resources, expert faculty, and international learning opportunities that could contribute to enhancing human resources in the country.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continue exploring concrete collaborative initiatives in the near future. Both FDCH and UIB affirmed the importance of expanding education-based partnerships to support Timor-Leste’s human capital advancement and UIB’s broader mission of international engagement.
